The VCD-Solar drive on HAHN louvre window type Tairmo uses the power of the sun to drive the windows. By means of remote control, the windows can be operated comfortably via an integrated receiver, additionally available weather sensors with a range of 100m in the open field ensure the rain monitoring of ventilators.
Up to 10 actuators can be controlled via a remote control (128-bit AES radio decoding), a 32-bit address coding and transmission code change at each push-button (code hopping) ensures a high level of security against remote operation.
Precondition for use of the VCD: Adequate charging of the drive by direct sunlight must be possible.
It is not possible to use the windows for smoke ventilation (EN 12101-2), but for of a control panel with radio control for natural ventilation by day or for targeted night cooling.
