Even with horizontal installation (without weathering), HAHN louvre windows are certified for use as smoke vent device according to EN 12101-2
As a result, HAHN louvres can now also be installed for use as smoke vents into intermediate ceilings.
Also approved in combination with HAHN louvre windows are spring return drives, which ensure smoke-free escape routes even in the event of a complete failure of the power and emergency power supply.
A smoke vent drive is now available for every operation: whether 24 V or 230 V, indoor or outdoor installation, control by pneumatic cylinders or now with spring return drives. The tests are self-explanatory for all system groups, depending on the application with single, double or triple glazed vents. As a result, compromises regarding design and heat protection are simply not necessary in favour of smoke ventilation.

No problem, HAHN louvre windows have also received the necessary certifications - since January 2015 the "HAHN Lamelle" can be used for all projects with NFS requirements.
